Upcycled Clothes/Fibre Arts including tie dye, bleach discharge

Above are some  photographs of clothes/textiles  I've modified during the past year or two, using "shibori", tie dye, discharge dyeing, rust dyeing, etc...All of the clothing started as a single solid color; the pieces were then immersed in dyes or mostly in diluted bleach, after applying stitching, rubber banding and thread tying, and clamping with clothes pegs, and/or wrapping around pvc pipe with lots of string or thread....Many types of "shibori" or resist techniques...some have glass "pebbles" wrapped with rubber bands....With the bleach it is always a surprise to see what colors emerge. I hope you enjoy these! I've also given away some pieces, and when they are worn and enjoyed by friends it feels really good! There are lots of websites including youtube ones with how-to information...and classes too...
